Anju (Her trademark dailogue>): Hai Panduranga !

2. Rakhi doing her Payments follow up (she was fairly new at that time in the Accounts Dept but had tonnes of confidence to say "Mujhe sab aata hai")
Sushma : busy at her desk (She handles the Sales Dept)
Rakhi: Sushma yeh kya karte ho tum log yaar..
Sushma: Kaam :P
Rakhi asks her such a silly doubt which is followed by this dialogue ..
Sushma (leaving after solving her sillyness): kashi kashi thevta :p:p:p
 we: laughing out loud :D:D
We often use this dialogue now whenever someone does a silly thing around :P

If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands :):)

Bonjour Readers! :*
I know it’s been pretty much long since you had something from me to make your mind wander upon :P
Well, it’s never too late, here I am
J

The title of my blog will kinda take you in flashbacks.
It was a song(I don’t think it was exactly a poem) we used to sing bachpan mei…(I used to hop singing it every time I clapped :P )
I am happy today … hash.. It feels lovely, not coz something good just happened; I just realized I don’t need certain benchmarked reasons to be happy…I can create my own reasons to be happy….
Yesterday was pretty dull, well last many weeks were so.
Eventually I thought it’s better to speak out my mind to someone, and the next thing I did was just buzz one of my friend  and while I was telling him my ram kahani :P (dukh bhari :P), he just asked me, “What makes you happy ??”
Though the chat didn’t go on the same lines but after I was done I was actually left with this question, “What makes me happy?”

Let me tell you, it’s heck of a tough question to think upon especially when you are saturated and down low…

I went for a bath thinking over it …I have a habit of listening songs while I bath . (Typical me :P)
Yesterday though they were loud in the background I was lost in my question thinking, Damn, what makes me happy!!
And suddenly this song came up, ‘You are my sunshine’ (remixed version of it)
And I started dancing over it .. that made me realize, Dance is the foremost thing which makes me happy J
I love dancing…I don’t imitate the exact steps.. no no.. :P.. I dance my own way… And I don’t give a damn to who’s around, Dancing is something which can make me absolutely unconscious of the people around.. I don’t need even a company for that, I just need a good peppy tune and am on the dance floor… maybe coz am least conscious my relatives often say it’s a pleasure to see me dancing :P (self pamper ;)) ..That’s one reason at times I love item songs.. they have good beats to dance upon… and its one thing I prefer starting my day with .. I have a habit that during my breakfast in the morning, there will be music channels running on my screen and once am done with the eating stuff and Mumma asks me to help her with her chores I prefer doing them dancing around my home (My Mumma loves dancing ditto like me.. maybe I have got it in me from her :P)

While the song just ended and the next one came up which was, ‘You are beautiful’ by James Blunt I made another realization..
Singing makes me happy
J (bathroom singer:P)
I was singing it loud coz I loved it …
Singing is somewhere deep in me, Mom often says I should give it a try in Indian Idol.. Though I need some formal training but am pretty good at it …
I do shy away from singing in public, don’t know why, but I will work on it as yes, it makes me happy :P
J

Sochke yeh b pata chala, Studying makes me happy…
Especially something in Finance…
when am completely lost in my books with no deviation affecting me around I am at a bliss …
And more often even if I study for an hour or so and it was worth it I can dance around .. inni khush ho jati hu :P
Moreover researching is something that works for me... I have analyzed in the last three to four presentations I did that when I research something as in go deep into some concept and that adds whole lot of value to my knowledge I am at absolute happywali state of mind…
I know it sounds weird as to how come studying makes me happy but yes it does to me
J

Then there are other minute things which make me happy like looking at the mirror (that’s girlish.. :P but works)
Going out on a trip with certain groups of relatives makes me super happy … (special mention: my travel partner Varsha Rohra.. jaan tere bina trips pe maza hi nai ata :P)
I am happy when am in the air … yeah .. adventures involving me in the air make me overwhelmed .. there was a time I had Acrophobia .. but over the last two three years I have been trying all sorts of adventures involving me in the air … it takes me on a high :P.. I get super excited.. haan once am on the edge I do over react in fear and then there is a typical znmd scene where I ask the instructor to push me :P… I have done this quite a few times :D

And after thinking over all the above the next thing which came to my mind was to share all of this with my readers … bingo.. I am happy when I blog
J
It actually helps me.. I love writing, though these days I find time a bit taxing but still writing helps me relieved of stress and brings back a wide smile ….

I am happy when I have a good chat with my close friends … as time passes by, we get less of a time for people around us… still if I manage to have a good chat.. it helps…

Tough once but easy now.. I got so many reasons which I can help myself to be happy …
Creating happiness for yourself is easy… handy too :P
Instead of trying to change people around or expecting from them you yourself can have all your deserved khushi…
and there will be a stage where thinking about these happy-making activities itself will make you khush :P
I am at that stage now …
I am happy and I know it and I really want to show it :P
I would love to know what are the things that make you happy J
We will clap our hands then for sure :P;)

The Perfect Answer

A teacher teaching Maths to 7 year-old Arnab asked him,"If I give you one apple, one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?" Within a few seconds Arnab replied confidently,"Four!"

The dismayed teacher was expecting an effortless correct answer (three). She was disappointed. "Maybe the child did not listen properly," she thought. She repeated,"Arnab, listen carefully. If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?"

Arnab had seen the disappointment on his teacher's face. He calculated again on his fingers. But within him he was also searching for the answer that will make the teacher happy. His search for the answer was for the correct one, but one that will also make his teacher happy. This time hesitatingly he replied,"Four..."

The disappointment stayed on the teacher's face. She remembered that Arnab liked strawberries. She thought maybe he doesn't like apples and that is making him lose focus. This time with an exaggerated excitement and twinkling in her eyes she asked,"If I give you one strawberry and one strawberry and one strawberry, then how many will you have?"

Seeing the teacher happy, young Arnab calculated on his fingers again. There was no pressure on him, but a little on the teacher. She wanted her new approach to succeed. With a hesitating smile young Arnab enquired,"Three?"

The teacher now had a victorious smile. Her approach had succeeded. She wanted to congratulate herself. But one last thing remained. Once again she asked him,"Now if I give you one apple, one apple and one apple how many will you have?"

Promptly Arnab replied,"Four!"

The teacher was aghast. "How Arnab, how?" she demanded in a little stern and irritated voice.

In a voice that was low and hesitating young Arnab replied,"Because I already have one apple in my bag."

Bottomline:
When someone gives you an answer that is different from what you expected, don't think they are wrong. There maybe an angle that you have not understood at all. You will have to listen and understand, but never listen with a predetermined notion.

Lovely story from the book- Stories from here and there..

Magical Moment :)

Well this is a repost from my previous blog....
Today instead of reading something from here and there, thought of reading my old stuff...
worth sharing anyday...

This is a story of a man who was an atheist. He was surprised to see the increasing belief of people of his village in God. He was shocked to see that many people carried on their living with just a strong hope that the Almighty will however feed them. He thought of testing himself that how come God feeds anyone.

The next day he didn’t take his breakfast and was determined not to eat anything throughout the day. He said, “Let me see how God feeds me today..!!!”

He went to the forest and climbing a tree he sat on its branch. The morning went by, but he was determined that God wont come and feed him at any cost. As the Sun reached its peak he saw some labourers were passing by. They were tired of the heavy hardwork in the fields and wanted to have rest for a while. They had with themselves their lunch. They sat under the shed of the same tree where the man was sitting on the branch. When they were about to have their lunch they saw some dacoits who were passing through the forests. The labourers feared in the thought that the dacoits had come to attack them. They left their lunch there itself and ran away from there. The man saw the left food and smilingly said, “God, I wont go down and have it. You yourself have to feed me without any efforts from my side,” and didn’t move from his place.

When the dacoits came near that tree they saw the food and felt of having it. One of them saw this man on the branch and pointed him out to others. The head of their gang said to others, “Somebody is trying to trap us with the help of this man, we cant have this food as it can be poisonous. Let us make this man have this food and if nothing happens to him then we will have it.”
He ordered his fellowman to bring the man down the tree. His fellowman went and said to the man, “Come down and have this food, else we will kill you.”
To which the man replied, “I wont come down and have the food at any cost.”
This amazed the head of the gang and he ordered his fellowman to climb the tree and feed the food to the man. The fellowman climbed the tree and he forcefully tried to feed the man. The man was made to have the food. He started laughing and said, “God I am sorry that I tried to test your powers, now I too believe that its You who feed the whole of the world.”

The above incident made him a theosophist.

One is never a theosophist from birth. The many magical moments make us believe that a strong power is ruling the world. They turn our beliefs towards our life upside down and makes us enjoy the life more fruitfully.

Hope you too have come across such magical moments…

“Mother, I want to live.”

Time: 11:15am
I was on the couch, just returned from my lectures, as usual the first thing I do when I reach back home, search for the sheets of newspaper. I glance through the wide advertisement on the cover of HT, go through a couple of articles of Brunch and get back to take a look at the Main sheet.
Page 1: Wake up India, she is dead
The ‘Dead’ thing made me go into the flashback of the day before when I entered into my Boss’s cabin and he was working on something with my colleague and it was then that he told me, “You know the girl is dead.” I was like, “What did you just say?” to which my colleague just confirmed saying, “Yes, she passed away early morning” they looked at me expecting a reaction but as usual I just gave a passive look and took my papers and came to my desk. The whole day I carried I was occupied into some or the other thing which anyday was less important than the news I heard but then, I am taught to just move on.
The images on the sheet just brought me back to present and started reading the article which had all the information of how and where the whole thing happened. But something I read just made me shiver, and that was the note the victim wrote to her mother while in Singapore and that was, “Mother, I want to live.”
Suddenly the whole passiveness which I was carrying from the day the incident happened gave up and I was full of emotions, active, angry, sad and what not. I don’t know from where should I start and I don’t really know how will I conclude this write up but there’s certainly an outburst of my emotions.
I was angry and felt so helpless that I was hiding the tears, looking here and there and just trying to escape an eye to eye contact. The only thought was, how could she hold such a brave heart even after what happened with her, how could she demand to live, how could she manage to have the willpower. Had I been at her place, no matter how positive attitude I carry, I would have certainly begged a death coz the mental pain to carry all the life is beyond my capacity.
In all this while I witnessed a lot of discussions happening almost at all the gatherings about how bad her experience must have been, people were circulating her pics, blaming the Govt., blaming the girl’s boyfriend, blaming even the victim that why did she go for the movie so late with a guy, some really nonsensical conclusions were being drawn and I just preferred to stay silent and non reactive to whatever happened. Some came to me expecting that I should tell them a way out in which they can revolt against whatever happened and I just couldn’t answer back.
I know I should have reacted but if I would have, I would have been an extremist and I just did not wanted another revolt at my home. Yes, I was helpless, weak and coward and I am ashamed of it.
I really don’t know whom to blame, if I blame the Govt. as many did, there’s a question on me as to whether I have been a responsible citizen???
Does being responsible only call for taking out rallies and just shouting out that I demand justice for her?
Does that suffice?
Does just discussing it with people around of the victim’s condition a sufficing factor that yes, atleast mera dhyan toh tha news pe? (Bloody hell, please don’t be a reporter out there, we already have many.)
Have I been justified of all my acts from the day I have heard the news?
Did I give top priority to sit back and atleast think of a solution instead of just analyzing who all did wrong?
If I couldn’t take it as a responsibility on me, how am I eligible to demand it from someone else?
If I am limiting it to just an update on fb or just participating in a rally, how will things improve, and to tell you, a rally doesn’t move the mentality of a man who just gets a sense of power when he brutally beats, abuses or for the fact rapes a woman.
Why have we become so much ‘Chalta hai’ Attitude types or rather why do we move on with our life so easily.  Why can’t we focus on something which maybe won’t be directly affecting you, but it is affecting your Family (The Country, I mean)
Why can’t we unite, sit across and decide on something worth calling a solution and implement rather than just playing around with the blame game.
We watched matches, went for holiday trips, went for movies, had parties, hangouts and what not since the incident happened and in between if we got some time, went through the news and just discussed it with some folks around, is that justified?
If you tell me now, that, Sorry I am not that a socially driven citizen(not into any society or social works to revolt against anything), for God’s sake it’s not about social thing here, it’s about being CARING. Being reactive to somebody’s pain.
If you say that there should be a strict punishment for those who rape, I say, agreed, there should be a strict punishment, but then what to do with the mentality. This case came out in public, there would be many which would have not been even reported anywhere and there would be thousands of victims out there still suffering similar abuse, what is justice for them??
Is my body a mere flesh for you to sense that pleasure, sense that powerfulness you achieve??
This is an unanswered question in my mind.
Yes I do feel unsafe but then it’s been long that I have felt so.
From the day that I attained maturity I was made to accept the harsh facts that you can’t go here, the place is unsafe, you can’t be with male friends out, coz they had the reason that kiski nazar tumpar kab kis tarah hai is unpredictable, so no outings, You can’t wear what you want to many atimes coz somebody would be looking at you closely and blah blah.
I GOTTA CHANGE, AND THAT THE PARTICLUAR SOMEBODY WON’T, AND NO ONE OUT THERE WILL EVER TAKE AN EFFORT TO EDUCATE THAT SOMEBODY.
If you speak out ki aap unko kyuon nai samjha sakte ho, they will say, wo nai samajhte, atleast beta aap toh samjho.
Thik hai, agreed, I will understand, but if even after taking all the precautions if that somebody does a brutal act with me, what should I do???
How many more precautions??
Why isn’t a change brought into his mentality for God’s sake??
I feel if somebody has to be blamed a bit, it’s the movie culture we have here, they portray woman as a sensual object with item numbers just coming out one on one. Please understand majority of the people watching out movies in India are NOT EDUCATED and here I mean Education and not just mere literacy. They really don’t understand what to take back from the movie and what to not. But then I am not here to do the postmortem of the incident.
I am here to learn a lesson and bring a change.
I beg you all readers for a solution worth implementing.
I am in such a bad phase of feeling helpless that I just can’t take it anymore.
How should I educate the citizens of my country?
How?

Soni Babita : )

Ghosh, I am actually thinking a lot to give introduction to this post coz at the end, seniors ho toh thoda sochna padta hai :P:P

Joke apart, you both actually gave a new definition to the terms, ‘Juniors’ and ‘Seniors’.

2 years, and you both completed a big chapter of your life. Just take a flashback, it will appear like a typical Hindi movie with love, friendship, laughter’s and many moments which changed your day upside down.

I guess in this whole journey, do jan ne aapko bht pareshaan kiya namely,

1.     Mr. Smiley (his smile speaks a lot, obviously you both know it far better :P)

2.     Ms. I can create troubles for you anytime, anywhere :D

Dekho, yeh dono ko aapne bhi pareshaan kiya, but thik hai, no complaints on the day of adieu. For him, you both were more than just Juniors, you learnt under him and he learnt from you too…

You spent your initial nervous days with him, and became the best of the friends later ..He has penned some words for you………
Few years, down the line,
When excellence will be asked to define,
Students will answer in two words only,
Answer will be “The Babita” and “The Sony” surely.

The girls which were interpreted as seeds,
But these ‘MASOOMS’ were ‘ACTUALLY’ the trees.
The trees which gave shed of relief to clients.
The trees which gave fruits of knowledge to interns.
The trees which gave fragrance of happiness from its flowers.

The duo proved the synergy effect is too short,
1+1 is beyond 3, this duo has effect of lot.
Even individually, they have lot of shine,
As said earlier, excellence they define.

You entered the office as new born girls,
Like they learn to speak, you learned the work,
Like the elders tells the stories, sir told the cases,
Like they study in school, you studied the acts.
Like elders test your learning, clients asked you queries.
Like they share their earning, you shared the experience.
Like they leave for marriage, you are leaving to reach new heights.
Like families miss their newly-wed girls, we miss you in office.

Well yes, you have been so much fulfilling for us : )

Now my turn :P:P:P:P you know, I can’t imagine myself in this office without you both, meri toh haalat kharab hoti….seriously :P

I still remember, it was my first day and the only day when I came to office before time :D

Sony (Yup I will spell it this way, maza ata hai) came with the keys and gave me a mast smile saying, “Hi !”

Babita Madam ( hihihaha.. bht kuch yaad aya hoga Madam sunke) gave me warm smile and let me in….

The moment I saw the office in I was like……………….. you know my reaction very well.
Obviously on the first day one remains silent and I did try to be so but thanks to Soni she made me speak my mind from the very first day……

If I look back na, I guess I found myself thoda thoda in both of you, I could relate to you very well coz you always tried to comfort me at every moment…You gals have seen me grow with you.Learning from both of you has been immense and I am serious this time.

Babita, you were more like a mirror to me, which guided me all the time and made me realize my weak points and more important made me work on them.Babita you are a sheer sweetheart, soft, nurturing, hardworking, consistent and committed to your work. Looking at you, I became target oriented and I always till today of course can’t do something without getting it reviewed from you, ek confidence ata tha that yeah, Babita ko dikhati hu, she knows it well. I still remember how much we giggled when we were returning from ‘Sparklite’, raat k eek baje paagalpanti chalu thi hamari and most of the people thought we were mad in the train. Also, our guppa shuppa all through the days in GS. And I would always call you from there saying, “Babita bore ho raha hai, akele nai bhejneka :P” and you would laugh and say, “Nikita, sikhoge kaise?”  Oh yeah, I did learn a lot there. Then the various Audits we did together, I learnt that you seriously got a hell lot of patience, coz mostly meri mistakes silly aur repeated version hua karti  thi but still you would look at them and just say, “thik kar lo” and I would think, bas itna hi, thoda toh daato, but naa, you never shouted at me.I guess the only time you shouted on me that too solid wala was after Nira’s audit and I remember that day both of us did not speak to each throughout and even cried individually, but next day all normal between us. Your smile the moment I entered in office says me all ki aaj office ka environment kaisa hai.. and mind you, our giggling made my day, and we actually did a lot of girly gossip too…I will miss you yaar : (

On the other hand, Sony you actually made me feel like you are my elder sister. Oh yes, I proudly say that you have been an awesome elder sis for me, I consider myself at the same level as Vanita before you, coz both of us are silly and irritate you like anything, you will get annoyed for a moment but fir chilate chilate khud hi smile karke samjha dete ho…I remember every day till the time I don’t come and sit before your desk I don’t feel at rest.. I have shared some very good moments of my life.. you know me inside out and I have never have to think before speaking anything to you, if I make some errors you give me that ‘I know it all Smile’ and I realize oh fish, I made a mistake . We never worked together on any project I guess, but you always stood beside me as a support system. Btw even when you will leave na, I guess I will call out your name(the way I do, Soniiiii) in case I gotta know some shortcut to do something technical :P you are a database for my shortcuts :P:P.. you always made me realize that smartness does makes wonders : )

You both completed me in every sense..Today when you both are leaving this org, I can very well say you both will be a benchmark for the rest of us, that Interns ho toh Soni Babita ki tarah…

Remember Soni?? The other day you said me that once you both are gone I have to follow your footsteps and things will be easy for me, but following four footsteps equally significant can never be possible…Love you both …..

In the end few lines by Mohit and me for both of you…

Tera mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Naata Koi
 Yoonhi Nahin Dil Lubhaata Koi
Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na

Maane Tu Ya Maane Na......

Hope you liked our small sweet gesture : )

Have A Passion !!!

It was probably the April of 1974. Bangalore was getting warm and
gulmohars were blooming at the IISc campus. I was the only girl in my
postgraduate department and was staying at the ladies' hostel. Other girls
were pursuing research in different departments of Science.

I was looking forward to going abroad to complete a doctorate in
computer  science. I had been offered scholarships from Universities in the
US. I had not thought of taking up a job in India.

One day, while on the way to my hostel from our lecture-hall complex,
I saw an advertisement on the notice board. It was a standard job-requirement
notice from the famous automobile company Telco (now Tata Motors).
It stated that the company required young, bright engineers, hardworking and
with an excellent academic background, etc.

At the bottom was a small line: "Lady candidates need not apply."
I read it and was very upset. For the first time in my life I was up
against gender discrimination.

Though I was not keen on taking up the job, I saw it as a challenge. I had
done extremely well in academics, better than most of my male peers. Little
did I know then that in real life academic excellence is not enough to be
successful.

After reading the notice I went fuming to my room. I decided to inform the
topmost person in Telco's management about the injustice the company was
perpetrating. I got a postcard and started to write, but there was a
problem: I did not know who headed Telco.

I thought it must be one of the Tatas. I knew JRD Tata was the head of the
Tata Group; I had seen his pictures in newspapers (actually, Sumant
Moolgaokar was the company's chairman then). I took the card, addressed it
to JRD and started writing. To this day I remember clearly what I wrote.

"The great Tatas have always been pioneers. They are the people who started
the basic infrastructure industries in India, such as iron and steel,
chemicals, textiles and locomotives. They have cared for higher education
in India since 1900 and they were responsible for the establishment of the
Indian Institute of Science. Fortunately, I study there. But I am surprised
how a company such as Telco is discriminating on the basis of gender."

I posted the letter and forgot about it. Less than 10 days later, I
received a telegram stating that I had to appear for an interview at
Telco's Pune facility at the company's expense. I was taken aback by the
telegram. My hostel mate told me I should use the opportunity to go to Pune
free of cost and buy them the famous Pune saris for cheap! I collected Rs
30 each from everyone who wanted a sari. When I look back, I feel like
laughing at the reasons for my going, but back then they seemed good enough
to make the trip.

It was my first visit to Pune and I immediately fell in love with the city.

To this day it remains dear to me. I feel as much at home in Pune as I do
in Hubli, my hometown. The place changed my life in so many ways. As
directed, I went to Telco's Pimpri office for the interview.

There were six people on the panel and I realised then that this was
serious business.

"This is the girl who wrote to JRD," I heard somebody whisper as soon as I
entered the room. By then I knew for sure that I would not get the job. The
realisation abolished all fear from my mind, so I was rather cool while the
interview was being conducted.

Even before the interview started, I reckoned the panel was biased, so I
told them, rather impolitely, "I hope this is only a technical interview."

They were taken aback by my rudeness, and even today I am ashamed about my
attitude. The panel asked me technical questions and I answered all of
them.

Then an elderly gentleman with an affectionate voice told me, "Do you know
why we said lady candidates need not apply? The reason is that we have
never employed any ladies on the shop floor. This is not a co-ed college;
this is a factory. When it comes to academics, you are a first ranker
throughout. We appreciate that, but people like you should work in research
laboratories."

I was a young girl from small-town Hubli. My world had been a limited
place.

I did not know the ways of large corporate houses and their difficulties,
so I answered, "But you must start somewhere, otherwise no woman will ever
be able to work in your factories."

Finally, after a long interview, I was told I had been successful. So this
was what the future had in store for me. Never had I thought I would take
up a job in Pune. I met a shy young man from Karnataka there, we became
good friends and we got married.

It was only after joining Telco that I realized who JRD was: the uncrowned
king of Indian industry. Now I was scared, but I did not get to meet him
till I was transferred to Bombay. One day I had to show some reports to Mr
Moolgaokar, our chairman, who we all knew as SM. I was in his office on the
first floor of Bombay House (the Tata headquarters) when, suddenly JRD
walked in. That was the first time I saw "appro JRD". Appro means "our" in
Gujarati. This was the affectionate term by which people at Bombay House
called him.

I was feeling very nervous, remembering my postcard episode. SM introduced
me nicely, "Jeh (that's what his close associates called him), this young
woman is an engineer and that too a postgraduate.

She is the first woman to work on the Telco shop floor." JRD looked at me.
I was praying he would not ask me any questions about my interview (or the
postcard that preceded it).

Thankfully, he didn't. Instead, he remarked. "It is nice that girls are
getting into engineering in our country. By the way, what is your name?"

"When I joined Telco I was Sudha Kulkarni, Sir," I replied. "Now I am Sudha
Murthy." He smiled and kindly smile and started a discussion with SM. As
for me, I almost ran out of the room.

After that I used to see JRD on and off. He was the Tata Group chairman and
I was merely an engineer. There was nothing that we had in common. I was in
awe of him.

One day I was waiting for Murthy, my husband, to pick me up after office
hours. To my surprise I saw JRD standing next to me. I did not know how to
react. Yet again I started worrying about that postcard. Looking back, I
realise JRD had forgotten about it. It must have been a small incident for
him, but not so for me.

"Young lady, why are you here?" he asked. "Office time is over." I said,
"Sir, I'm waiting for my husband to come and pick me up." JRD said, "It is
getting dark and there's no one in the corridor.

I'll wait with you till your husband comes."

I was quite used to waiting for Murthy, but having JRD waiting alongside
made me extremely uncomfortable.

I was nervous. Out of the corner of my eye I looked at him. He wore a
simple white pant and shirt. He was old, yet his face was glowing. There
wasn't any air of superiority about him. I was thinking, "Look at this
person. He is a chairman, a well-respected man in our country and he is
waiting for the sake of an ordinary employee."

Then I saw Murthy and I rushed out. JRD called and said, "Young lady, tell
your husband never to make his wife wait again." In 1982 I had to resign
from my job at Telco. I was reluctant to go, but I really did not have a
choice. I was coming down the steps of Bombay House after wrapping up my
final settlement when I saw JRD coming up. He was absorbed in thought. I
wanted to say goodbye to him, so I stopped. He saw me and paused.

Gently, he said, "So what are you doing, Mrs Kulkarni?" (That was the way
he always addressed me.) "Sir, I am leaving Telco."

"Where are you going?" he asked. "Pune, Sir. My husband is starting a
company called Infosys and I'm shifting to Pune."

"Oh! And what will you do when you are successful."

"Sir, I don't know whether we will be successful." "Never start with
diffidence," he advised me. "Always start with confidence. When you are
successful you must give back to society. Society gives us so much; we must
reciprocate. I wish you all the best."

Then JRD continued walking up the stairs. I stood there for what seemed
like a millennium. That was the last time I saw him alive. Many years later
I met Ratan Tata in the same Bombay House, occupying the chair JRD once
did. I told him of my many sweet memories of working with Telco. Later, he
wrote to me, "It was nice hearing about Jeh from you. The sad part is that
he's not alive to see you today."

I consider JRD a great man because, despite being an extremely busy person,
he valued one postcard written by a young girl seeking justice. He must
have received thousands of letters everyday. He could have thrown mine
away, but he didn't do that. He respected the intentions of that unknown
girl, who had neither influence nor money, and gave her an opportunity in
his company. He did not merely give her a job; he changed her life and
mindset forever.

Close to 50 per cent of the students in today's engineering colleges are
girls. And there are women on the shop floor in many industry segments. I
see these changes and I think of JRD. If at all time stops and asks me what
I want from life, I would say I wish JRD were alive today to see how the
company we started has grown. He would have enjoyed it wholeheartedly.

My love and respect for the House of Tata remains undiminished by the
passage of time. I always looked up to JRD. I saw him as a role model for
his simplicity, his generosity, his kindness and the care he took of his
employees. Those blue eyes always reminded me of the sky; they had the same
vastness and magnificence.

wishes

“I wish I clear my exams in the first attempt” said Rahul sitting on his couch.
“I will be the happiest person if I clear out, I really hope it happens that way” he added.
Ajay seemed indifferent to whatever Rahul just said.
“Are you even listening to me?? I am so tensed here” called up Rahul throwing the remote control on Ajay’s side.
“Ouch!! Oh yeah yeah I am listening, but for the fifth time since I have arrived at your place one hour ago, can you just tell me something new, I am too bored of the same thing again and again”
“No I don’t wish to talk about anything else, I hope I would be able to complete my portions before exams...these books are sending me horror signals!!”replied back Rahul.
“Ok answer me a few questions, Rahul”
“Would you be happy if your portions would be completed?” asked Ajay.
“Obviously Yes, I would be very happy, it would boost my confidence”
“What if you don’t manage to complete it?” demanded Ajay.
“I would get tensed and maybe I may lose my confidence and grip” said Rahul making tensed reactions.
“Suppose to add to your agony, your exams don’t go really good, how would you react then?”
“Don’t even dare to say that, I may end up leaving the course itself, failure is not my cup of tea, I will spend the rest of the months too much away from my comfort zone of mind!”
“There you go boy, the rest of the few months will be a horror for you for sure, mark my words!” Ajay said as he got up from the table.
“What makes you say that? Do you mean to say I won’t be able to complete my portions? Won’t I clear the exams?” said an alarmed Rahul as got up too.
“I am not saying that, your outlook says that!” Ajay said with a smile.
“What’s wrong with my outlook?” asked Rahul.
“If Nancy doesn’t call you up for a day, does that make you unhappy?” asked Ajay.
“Certainly, coz she’s my best buddy and talking to her is like a habit for me, if I won’t talk to her for a day, that makes me vacuumed somewhere” added Rahul as he got a bit lost in her thoughts.
“Oye, come back here, Nancy is good at her home” said Ajay as he shook Rahul.
“You wish to get an Apple Ipod if you clear your exams, right?”
“Yup, that’s an awesome thing, but I will get that only if I clear in this attempt”
“Have you lost it Rahul?” asked Ajay.
Rahul got puzzled, “What do you mean?”
To which Ajay replied back “How come happiness is so much a product of your wishes being fulfilled?”
“How come your wishes have no relation in your mind with your efforts?”
“And how come your wishes are about so much narrow aspects?”
“You know Rahul, you are like that artist who will be satisfied only when his painting would be sold that too at a good price coz the moment you take the brush in your hand you think about the price”
“Enjoyment to you is so much calculative, if wishes fulfil, good enough, and if they don’t what follows is a series of agonies and sorrows”
“Wake up, still time is not lost!”
“Take control of your mind which makes happiness a product of the hopes and doesn’t enjoy it as a feeling”
“When was the last time you looked at your books with a motive that studying them is going to be damn exciting?”
“When was the last time you wished on a morning that you study hard today, and enjoy the whole portions?”
“I think that day hasn’t seen the sunlight in your life as yet!”
“I am not saying stop wishing, no ways, coz wishes are something which add colours and those just awesome feel good feelers in your life”
“Wishes lead to you dreaming or at times living that thing and dreams are those vibrant energies we emit towards the Universe, but your wishes have tensions as attachments, if your energy emitted itself is tension accompanied, in what manner you expect it to return back to you?”
“Wish for sure, but wish something which adds to your present and not to your uncertain future”
“Don’t make your happiness a product of your future wishes but a part of your present life”
“Tomorrow when you get up, just say these few things:
I will keep myself as much happy and composed as possible, and I hope my day goes full of enjoyment with interesting subjects to study, exciting sums to be solved”
“Give yourself a smile and start your day, and then see how better and satisfied the days will go for you, coz everyday you will complete your wishes and that too happily.”
“Make happiness as a habit and you will start attracting positivity which in turn will boost your confidence and give you the strength to face the challenges”
“Mere dost, use your mind effectively rather than getting carried away by your mind”
Rahul was amazed and floored by whatever he heard so long.
“How come you manage to make life so much simpler?” asked Rahul smiling endlessly at Ajay.
“You just gave me the solutions I needed, though it will go slow but now I think I can do it all”
He just went and hugged Ajay and said,
“You are the only best friend of my life Ajay yaar! You are the best! You care about me so much”
“Arre Rahul, main philosophical banta hoon tab tak thik hai, tu yeh senti mat ho ja, bichari Nancy ka kya hoga??”
They just laughed out loud.
This was just a piece of fiction to make you understand the silly mistakes of life we attempt.
Don’t make your happiness so much dependent on your future or rather your endless wishes.
Let happiness be your asset, always there with you just without any depreciation.
It’s you who can create expressions of life, and Happiness is an expression.
Enjoy every moment of life.
Enjoy it when you have too many things to complete, just laugh them out.
Your smiles and laughter are like swords for against your tensions and agonies.
Wish !!..
But wish or dream something that you enjoy the small moments that give those feel good feelers.
Wish something which provokes you to live lively.
Just as those lines say from the movie “Life is a Metro”..
“In dino..
Dil mera, mujhse hai keh raha...
Tu ...khwab saja...
Tu jile zara!!!”

Gemini>> Proud to be one :P:P

.Well, people say I am a typical ideal daughter....seedhi saadhi types... well guys don't forget I am a Gemini..:P:P

Born devil :DDDDD

What I am to you I am 100% sure I am not to anybody else....

Till date if I find someone who has understood me the best, it has to be Linda Goodman...
The Lady who recognized the sun sign characters so well that at times I feel I should have definitely got a chance to have a chit chat with her over coffee...

Read her work in the field of astrology and you will be bowled on by her accuracy ...

And that's what makes me read her description of a Gemini Woman again and again...it is a feel good read for me :P:P:P

Here's an excerpt of the same...

"""" Gemini Woman """"

Though she managed to pick plenty of beautiful rushes as the boat glided by, there was always a more lovely one that she couldn't reach. "The prettiest are always further!" she said at last, with a sigh at the obstinacy of the rushes in growing so far off.

Have you always secretly thought Brigham Young had a sensational idea when he advocated several wives for one man? Do you inwardly envy the Eastern potentates with their harems? You needn't resign yourself to romantic Walter Mitty daydreams. Just marry a Gemini girl. That way, you'll be guaranteed at least two different wives, and on occasional weekends, as many as three or four.

Naturally, there's a small catch. The difference between a girl born under the sign of the twins and a harem is her apparent lack of interest in earthy passion. It's hard to get her to settle down long enough to take passion or anything else very seriously. Her mind is always traveling, and she keeps up a pretty good running commentary simultaneously. But look a little deeper. Somewhere, hidden among the several women who make up one Gemini female, is a romantic one-one who is capable of intense passion, if you can manage to make the mental, spiritual and physical blending complete. How to develop her and still enjoy all the other women bottled up inside the Geminian personality may create a problem. I can tell you that one Gemini girl equals several women. But I'm afraid it's up to you to delve into the advanced algebra of sorting them out. Each individual case is different.

Her age will be an important clue to what you can expect, because until she matures, romance is only a game to her. She can be fickle and unpredictable to an incredible degree. First she'll be ecstatically carried away by your smile and your voice, even the way you walk. Then she'll reverse her ecstasy and criticize everything from your socks to your haircut, and she usually does it with such clever, sharp sarcasm, you may need iodine for your wounds. Now, don't let this put you out of the market for a Gemini woman. Remember you're getting at least two for one, and that's indisputably a bargain.

Mercury females aren't as heartless as they seem to be 'at times. Their active imaginations create many fantasies. Romance is the easiest way they can express them, and Geminis have at least twice as much to express as other women. A Gemini man can be a producer, a singer, a sailor, a lawyer, an actor, a salesman and the chairman of a few boards of directors all at once-and express himself ad infinitum. But a woman can't very well swing all that, or she would be considered a

little freakish. Not that Mercury girls don't pursue careers. They do. Almost every last one of them. But under the existing conditions of society, a career still doesn't offer her as many opportunities as romance to try out her myriad theories and practice her emotional gymnastics.

The Gemini girl needs your pity, not your anger. It's painfully difficult for her to really commit herself to one person at a time. While she's being impressed with a man's mental abilities and his intelligent wit, another side of her is noticing his antipathy toward the arts or his lack of response to music and poetry. When she finds someone who's appropriately creative, who's at home at the ballet or in the literary world, the duality pops up again. Right in the middle of a stroll through the museum, her other self will begin to wonder if he's practical enough to make a living or if he has enough common sense to know where he's going. I trust you're beginning to have a more sympathetic understanding of the conflicts peculiar to those born in June.

Give her credit. Shell usually manage to keep her bewilderment at her own complex character to herself, and not burden you with it. She's a lively and gay companion. Most of the time (when the mood is on the up-swing), she'll sparkle with a vivacious personality, amuse you with her clever, witty remarks, and converse intelligently about almost any subject under the sun. She enjoys all the sentimental gestures of romance and has no trouble making conquests. No woman you've ever met will delight you with more imaginative ways of loving you and such appealing charm. She can flutter her lashes with delicate femininity, but she's not at all helpless when it comes to earning her own living. A Gemini woman can play the giddy party girl to perfection, flattering a helpless, trapped male right out of his mind and his bank book. But she can smoothly change into a demure and adoring housewife, from which she can quickly switch into a serious intellectual who studies the great philosophers and talks about politics or poetry brilliantly, then suddenly turn into a bundle of raw emotion, full of nerves, tears and fears. She's certainly not stuffy or monotonous.

If you think this is an exaggeration, remember the late Marilyn Monroe. Every man she ever knew, from Carl Sandburg to her hairdresser, saw her as a totally different person than the other men who thought they knew her, too. Place a photograph of her as the seductive love goddess next to a picture of her wearing horn-rimmed glasses, a babushka and no make up, seriously intent on a lecture about Russian authors. Then add a third and fourth shot of her in a gingham apron, learning to bake a cheese soume for a husband whose athletic talents and warm, human qualities she worshiped-and walking sedately beside another husband whose intellectual abilities and literary talent she deeply respected and admired. Add two more photos. One showing her with a tear-stained face, full of longing, after losing her third baby-another shot of her in a bikini, gaily laughing with a handsome French movie star on the Riviera. These are not posed pictures. They were snapped when she wasn't even looking, let alone seeking publicity. It's a perfect example of the eye of the camera exposing all the women contained in one Gemini female, who successfully kept her multiple nature hidden behind the image she chose to project

the most frequently.

Your Mercury-ruled girl longs to be "really, truly in love," but it keeps eluding her. She yearns for motherhood, but often that eludes her, too. She finds a different perfection in each man she meets, as she restlessly searches for the one man who has all the qualities she needs for happiness.

You'll find her a great pal. The Mercury girl will go along with you on anything from scuba diving to speed racing-bicycling or badminton. She'll show an interest in all the outdoor sports, and still manage to look as soft and feminine as a powder puff, with a mind as fast as a whip. The Geminian sharp mentality will show clearly when her curiosity is excited by any new subject. Her Mercurial mind will let her see all the intricacies of your creative ideas, and she'll probably throw in a few promotional schemes of her own. As long as you don't demand consistency from her, she'll be completely fascinating.

It's only fair to warn you that this girl can sincerely believe she's in love, and find other men attractive at the same time. Unless she's near you all the time, she can forget you quicker than a woman born under any other Sun sign. It's her nature to accept change, even seek it. Until she leams to control her devoted courtship of con-stant activity, neglecting to cultivate patience and stability, the Gemini female can make quite a mess of her life- and yours. Fortunately for the men in love with them, most Geminian women settle down into a deeper understanding of their own natures before it's too late.

Once you've proposed to her and she's accepted, you can pity all those men who are doomed to a life of monogamy with just one woman. You'll have several wives when you marry your Gemini.

Wife Number One will be able to adjust to anything you require of her. If you require faithfulness, she can manage that, too, providing you're interesting enough to have won her real love. I refer to that blending of mental, spiritual and physical compatibility, with the physical part added last, like the paprika, after the other three are well mixed. This wife will never sulk if you take a new job out of town. With her ingenuity, taste and sense of color, she can make a new home look lovely with a light touch of her dainty, clever hand. Besides, she'll love the adventure, and there will be no nagging reproaches that you're gambling with future security. The excitement of new horizons interests her more. She may have a surprisingly good head for business and she'll back all your original ideas. You can count on her to go to work if you need extra income, and she'll be pretty practical about how to spend it. Although she may give an outward impression of flightiness, she's not as nighty as she appears. She's a thinker, and a very clever one, underneath all the bright small talk.

Wife Number Two will be moody. You might just as well expect it. She'll have her satirical moments when she can be cynical and flippant, by turns. At the same time, she'll challenge you mentally. But a man needs to be stimulated, doesn't he? Go

ahead, top her in an intellectual argument. (It's what she secretly wants anyway.) This wife won't be easily shocked by life or have any preconceived prejudices. She may decide to march in a protest parade or join a sit-in and forget to come home until midnight. What if you do have to join the fellows while she's out making a speech or going to night school to pick up a few extra credits? At least she probably won't hound you with • suspicious questions about who you were with, where you were, and what you were doing. Don't question her, either. You're on the honor system. So is she. This one is a highly independent individualist.

Wife Number Three will be bored and depressed with housekeeping routines. The beds will be unmade and the dishes will stand in the sink while she daydreams, reads or writes the outline for a play. She may serve you a can of beans for 'dinner without even bothering to open the can. But you can have the most soul-satisfying conversations with her into the wee, small hours. She'll sympathize with your frustrations at the way life has treated you. She'll satisfy both your emotional and your intellectual cravings, be curious about your opinion of Buddhism and excited about your attempts to write a song. In short, she's pretty good company. She'll be very affectionate, too, since you haven't bugged her about dusting and baking and all that nonsense. This wife may make a mess of the checkbook now and then. But if you suggest a sudden camping trip or a few days in Las Vegas, she'll enthusiastically pack her suitcase without a bunch of silly objections, like how it's going to affect the budget or who will feed the Siamese cat and what if the bathtub leaks while you're gone.

Wife Number Four will be a gay and laughing mother. She won't let the children restrict her, because she'll probably have too many projects going constantly to smother them with over-protectiveness. They'll imitate her independence and benefit by it. If anyone asks her how much time she spends with them, she'll probably answer, "In our family, it's not a matter of how much time. It's a matter of how much love." And she'll be right. The children may not always obey her, because she's inclined to be emphatic one day, then melt and give in the next, but the youngsters will love their long talks with her. Her imagination will match theirs, and they'll amuse each other. She'll probably be a permissive mother, but she'll worry about scholastic averages, and she'll probably insist on good grades. They won't get by without doing their homework if she can help it, although they may get by without hanging up their clothes.

Wife Number Five will be a beautiful hostess, an expert at the whole candlelight, flowers and sterling silver routine. You can bring anyone, from your boss to the Governor home to dinner, and she'll be so gracious and charming, they'll never want to leave. Shell organize her life efficiently and effortlessly, dress like a fashion model and love the theater. You can take her to art galleries and concerts- she'll be right at home in any kind of society. Everyone will stare at you enviously and wonder who the glamorous woman is who hangs on your arm so sweetly. She'll be romantic and ultra-feminine, maybe even write you a poem for your birthday. You'll want to buy her velvet dressing gowns and expensive perfumes, because her gracious style will make you feel like a country squire. If you mention a trip to

Europe, her eyes will sparkle. She's a sophisticate.

Well, there you are. I may have missed a few girls in your Gemini harem. Every husband in town will be green with envy when they see you with a different woman every day. If they ask you how you get away with it, play it cool. Polygamy is against the law, you know.

Your Gemini woman will never take a train when she can fly. She'll never be silent when she can speak. She'll never turn away when she can help. And she'll never walk when she can run. Her mind is full of so many thoughts and her heart is full of so many hopes, she may seem to need a computer to sort it all out. Or does she just need someone who can run beside her and toss dreams with her-from here to tomorrow? If you're that man, she doesn't dare look over her shoulder to see if you're near. Some deep, unexplained fear within her keeps her from ever looking back. When you finally match her speed, get her to slow down to your pace. You can do it, if you hold her hand tightly and never let it go. Though Mercurial north winds drive her on, secretly she may long to rest awhile more than you know. Do hurry and try to reach her. She needs you.

Even read this one today...

""" Gemini Employee """ >>> Gawd it's ditto to what I am..:P:P

"The time has come," the Walrus said,

"To talk of many things;

Of shoes-and ships-and sealing wax-•

Of cabbages-and kings- And why the sea is boiling hot-

And whether pigs have wings."

Yet, what can one poor voice avail Against three tongues together?

Do you have some employees around your office who talk fast, move fast and think fast? Do they look young and act young, forget about their ages? Are they unpredictable, restless, original and impatient? What a smart man you are! You've gone and hired yourself some Geminis.

It's easy to understand why. With all that charm and guile, not to mention flashing intellect and creative imagination, you probably couldn't help yourself. Now that you've had a chance to watch these Mercury people in action, you've learned that they can take an abstract idea and reduce it to a formula better than anyone else in the office. Your Aquarian employee can think in wildly abstract terms, your Aries employee can toss out some red-hot ideas, smothered in enthusiasm, and the Virgos can organize the details meticulously. But Gemini can do all three.

Before you fire those other people, however, remember that the Gemini doesn't have the intense drive of the Aries, nor the willingness to work overtime. He also lacks the fixed and steady purpose of the Aquarian and he'll never understand the endless, devoted dedication of the Virgo. We won't cover the other Sun signs. You get the general idea. Your Gemini employee is not a one-man show, all by himself, even if he is a dual personality. He'll come closer to it than anyone else, but you'll need the other workers just the same.

Geminis share with Virgo, Aries, Leo and Scorpio a built-in ability to deal with emergencies. They can meet a crisis swiftly. The typical Gemini will make instant decisions and go into action while most of the people around him are still polishing their skis. He's easily bored with routine, happiest when he's free, so don't try to chain him down to the work bench. He'd rather do a stretch of time in Sing Sing than work for a clock-watcher. At least in prison he could turn his curious mind to studying the behavior of the inmates. I'd sincerely like to point out here that the Gemini behind bars is a lonely man who couldn't find the right niche for his multiple talents in an over-organized, conformist society. Many a Gemini forger or petty thief is basically as honest as the judge who sentenced him, and twice as idealistic. When Gemini is made to feel guilty about his vivid imagination and restless energy in childhood, then constantly criticized by the business world for being too progressive and refusing to fit into stale patterns, his high sense of moral and mental ethics becomes distorted, and he strikes out on the only original path he feels is left to him.

Most Geminis are so glibly persuasive they can talk people into buying things they couldn't possibly even use. It's never a mistake to utilize their talents in sales or pro-motional activities. When the Gemini's silver tongue gets through extolling the virtues of your firm, you won't even recognize it yourself, even if you're a blind

egotist about your own company. Send your Gemini man out to sell the public, or to wheedle your customers and clients in restaurants and on golf courses. Or send him on the road to gather up an avalanche of good will and orders for business. If you must keep him in the office, be careful where you place him. He doesn't resent supervision as fiercely as Leo or Aries, but he will become nervous and inadequate if he's confined and unable to express himself. When this happens, your Gemini employee will break his shackles and breeze off to more freedom without an instant's regret. Now don't run in and take a hasty peek at his desk to see if he's still there. He won't fly away or disappear into thin air until he's had a chance to tell you his reasons and take his chances of winning you over to his point of view. Unless you hear differently, directly from him, he's probably as happy as a winged messenger from the gods could be here m earth, doing whatever it is you have him applying his agile mind to. If there's an office pool of any kind, you may see your Leos, Aries and Sagittarius people doing lots of showy betting, but you can bet your old Brooklyn Dodgers button hat it was probably masterminded by one of those streaks )f lightning you employ who was born in June. The Gemini von't throw extravagant sums of money into a complicated mbble scheme as readily as Leo, the lion. He's more likely :o risk his security in a situation where there's a challenge o his wits, where there's fast action and a quick return. His conversation will be full of phrases like "Let's give it i spin," "It's worth a flyer," and "I'll try anything once." And he will, too. Try anything once, that is. Twice is out.

He's bored by then.

Your Gemini employee may be conspicuous by his absence or absent-mindedness (same thing), during baseball season or golfing play-offs. Most Mercury people enjoy these sports, and many of them have participated, thanks to the uncanny Geminian dexterity. There's little he can't do with the synchronization of his intelligence and his clever hands, and that can include calculating precisely how to swat a white ball over the fence or making a hole-in-one on the green. Sports often attract him as a way to work off all that nervous energy. In the long run, however, the Gemini prefers to exercise his wits and give his mind a workout, so he can bat plenty of home runs for your firm. Still, he should be encouraged to engage in physical activity. It will wear him out so he can sleep. All Geminis are prone to insomnia. Many Gemini employees who work in offices where they're required to be on the job early in the morning can be recognized by the circles under their eyes.

Your Geminis will keep the office humming with busy activity, lots of jokes and gay chatter. But they'll get things done. The Mercury secretary may be the fastest typist in the crowd, and quick to catch your dictation. Normally, if she's a typical Gemini, she'll be able to form an intelligent, clearly-stated letter with just a hint from you about the subject matter. In spite of her secretarial talents, you might be better off to put her out in front where she can charm the people who walk in the door and run the switchboard for you. (Doing two things at once and juggling them expertly is no problem for a Mercury girl.) You'll have fewer disgruntled people calling you. Not only will she sweet talk strangers cleverly, she's not apt to scramble the cords and cut you off in the middle of a call to Kalamazoo to connect you with

Katanga.

I'd better warn you not to discuss raises, bonuses, commissions and such with a Gemini, if you can possibly help it. Use a stem Capricorn or a dogmatic Taurus or a no-nonsense Virgo as your middle man. If you don't, the Gemini may talk you into giving him a higher position with the firm than you have available without firing your wife's brother and twice as much money as you make yourself. He'll make it all seem perfectly logical. It's much safer to avoid financial huddles with a persuasive Gemini. If you're game, go ahead and try it. But you may come out of the huddle having promised him a weekly expense account that would support a couple of Virgos and Cancerians for a year.

You're likely to trip over a few broken hearts in the office hallways when you have Mercury employees. A flirtation or two a month and a rather fickle way of changing his mind is the average behavior before maturity. There's a youthful air of irresponsibility about many a Gemini (unless the natal chart indicates a more stable nature). He has a mind at least a million years old, and the emotions of a teenager. He'll look like one, too.

The truth is that the Gemini, like Peter Pan, hates to grow up. And like Peter, he needs a Wendy as smart as he is to clean house for him every spring, letting him come and go as he pleases. If you're the kind of boss to play office Cupid, don't introduce him to any other kind of girl, or you may have to loan him money to pay his alimony shortly afterwards.

Do you want to make your office really swing? Put your Aries employee and your Gemini employee together in a room to discuss a new project. Then stuff some cotton in your ears to protect them from a sound like one hundred adding machines and two hundred ticker tapes all going at once. Stand close by with a big, strong net to catch all the pink balloons that will be flying through the air. Gather them up, take them in to your office, and study them carefully before you stick a pin in them. One of them is likely to contain a million dollar idea.

He thought he saw an Albatross

That fluttered round the lamp:

He looked again, and found it was

A penny-postage-stamp. "You'd best be getting home," he said, "The nights are very damp."

Acha tha na...???

Well Mai hun hi achi :P:P
